Cellular Expansion and Healing (CE) is a form of hands-on energy work that supports the resolution of constrictions and illness at the level of the cells. The relief of constrictions allows for physical, emotional and mental healing at the root cause and supports living a life of joy.
Cellular Expansion acknowledges the body’s innate desire for balance and invites in the power of healing from within. By extending energy to the source (the cells) of any situation, change transpires at the level of cause, rather than at a level of symptoms. In this way lasting healing occurs.
CE interacts with the consciousness that exists within the cells. Old beliefs, thoughts, impressions and issues that limit our largest expression in the world are all held within the matter of our tissues, bones and cells. Accessing this consciousness with the stable and receptive light of Cellular Expansion creates profound alignment with the Soul and is a path of enlightenment.
Using the subtle energy of Cellular Expansion, practitioners learn how to extend this healing energy to others while becoming aware of their own larger consciousness and life work. CE follows principles of physics and resonance. Energy, as the basic unit of life and consciousness, is extended to your system to assist your cells in resonating at the highest level possible. Often cells that are ill or constricted in fear are not resonating as clearly as possible. Through using the Vanati principles of CE, energy is delivered directly to the cells where it is needed. Support for personal development and growth might involve learning how to let go of old traumas or stories. A practitioner trained in CE learns how to hold his or her energy in an open, receptive field. This enhances resonance and supports a deep level of healing at the root cause of illness and stress – the cells.
Consciousness, the sum of our waking and non-waking experiences, is stored in the cells. Muscles demonstrate this in a tangible way. Memory of structural orientation, where the muscles are in relation to other muscles and body parts, is impacted during times of stress or injury. A new pattern of orientation quickly sets in place and becomes part of the biologic history. Once attention is paid to the affected area through massage, stretching, etc., the unwinding or redistribution of these competing muscle alignments begins. The cells, which have been aligned longest in a pattern, simply continue to do so, providing the signal or request for the body to realign to its pre-injured state.
One need only think of a hurtful relationship to feel the guarded nature of the heart, hoping not to recreate a painful situation. This often occurs without the waking conscious attention of the individual and indicates the intention to limit inflow and be protected.
CE impacts the total history of an individual, both conscious and unconscious through gentle invitation at the level of the cells to engage and release what impedes the body’s natural rhythm and flow.

Balance is present when energy is able to move in and out freely of a system with no limitations. Cellular Expansion exists as a high state of flow that supports the exploration of balance. By extending energy to the source (the cells) of the imbalance, memory or history, the energy is able to support transformation at the level of cause, rather than at a level of symptoms, which is further away from the source. This may be thought of as offering a warm bath to tired muscles. The muscles (here the imbalance) have the opportunity to be fed, nourished and comforted by the warm water (energy). They can choose to relax and let go of the holding that is present or stay as they are. However, through having an opportunity to make choice, change is possible.
Each time you offer this possibility to the cells a profound doorway of transformation exists. Old patterns of not enough, separation and lack are all nourished and acknowledged as part of the history that was present. In addition to resolving past hurts and limitations, this energy supports the unfolding of our deepest spiritual nature, our greater consciousness as an active aspect of our daily lives. In this way growth becomes evolution.
Almost 8 months ago, I began to experience rotator cuff problems in my right shoulder. About six weeks ago it became painful enough that I could no longer sleep on my right side. I would often turn in my sleep and be awakened by the pain. Earlier this week I was listening to a Cellular Expansion class tape for the third time. I was quite awake and conscious of the words as I was working in the kitchen. When it came to the part in the tape which asks us for an area where we would like to effect change, I chose the rotator cuff. All this while walking around cleaning!
That night I found myself sleeping on the right side with no pain. In some disbelief, I decided I had the wrong shoulder and it must be my left rotator cuff that was my problem. But it wasn’t, it was the right and for two nights I am free of pain and though there is some soreness still there, the change is drastic.
I would have to think of this as instant transformation!

The desire to become a practitioner is not a requirement to explore this avenue of study. Part of a path of personal growth and enlightenment, Cellular Expansion and Healing allows you to begin to explore your orientation to self, to higher consciousness and to the world around you from a grounded, supported and yet expanded state. Students often apply these skills to other areas of life, including business, parenting, healing old wounds and issues, music, art, and other healing modalities.
Through hands-on bodywork trades, guided meditation, partner exercises and question and answer sessions students are supported in unwinding aspects of the personality and discovering their true essence. Class meets for two long weekends but occurs over a six-month period to allow for deeper integration and exploration of the energy and concepts. Daily transmissions from the instructors support this process between class in addition to homework assignments. Bring a bodywork table, pillows and blankets, pen and notebook, water, snacks.

Deb Schnitta

As a graduate from Cellular Expansion, you are invited to explore the foundation of living your life from this expanded state. This one-year program provides additional transmissions to support your personality becoming more supple and open as well as the opportunity to practice these skills in a live format.
Immersed in the energy of Cellular Expansion, you are given the opportunity to learn about connection in a deeper way. With this stable base you have the opportunity to enter into deeper union with the aspect of you that knows already how to live from this expanded state.
Connecting consciously with this aspect supports the unfolding necessary to be able to hold the spaces of Cellular Expansion in everyday life. Whether you seek to learn to hold the space for others to make a shift in their lives or you desire to build this space of peace for yourself in everyday life, the skills required are the same.
With the access point of CE as a stable frame of reference, you learn how to:
- Hold this space while engaged in conversation with others
- Live connected to this state of peace
- Open space for others to make shifts in their lives from a non-bodywork orientation
- Access this energy as a base from which to create, whether it is writing, music, dance or any other form of expression
- Work consciously with situations from this perspective
Class meets four weekends a year, with transmissions in-between to assist your further development. Additional energy programs are used between classes to create a more stable base of accessing this energy in a conscious waking state.

True creation is a divine act of will from the higher spaces of consciousness beyond the personality. It is not a place of willing or making something happen that suits you. It is a state of being that allows the higher aspects of the Universe to flow through you as a conduit. With practice, you may touch into these streams of consciousness and affect your entire life. – excerpt from the book Soul Connection: Opening to the Source of Connection.
In this three year program you will learn to move beyond the limitations of the mind while opening to your true nature. Dissolution of the personality attachments will provide the framework for moving into conscious alignment as a Soul and from here learning to consciously create as a Soul. Integration of the changes will support applying these skills in daily life. This class is designed to exponentially support the personality opening to what is next as well as learning how to view the world from expansion consistently. Moment by moment choices made from this place of orientation furthers the process of enlightenment as well as provides a rich framework to explore daily life and all of your creations.
Each year of the program will have a theme, a series of energy skills designed to further the goal of conscious creation. Each theme will be determined at the end of the previous cycle, based on where you as a group have progressed. Since there is no limit to where Mikala and I can take you in this process, it is an exciting opportunity of co-creation, as the group evolves, the path of enlightenment deepens.
To consciously create it to know as a personality what you desire, and to use the skills as your Soul to take that creation to its highest level. Students learn to open to higher flows, develop a deeper sense of allowing as well as the use of energy skills to create from the planes of light into the realms of matter.
Class meets four times over the year, in part to support the personality system in integrating the energies that we will teach, and in part to create greater opportunity for each of you to go higher in the energies of open receptivity as well as natural knowing, a skill of advanced consciousness that we will teach as part of the program. From here, there is the opportunity to build an energy system that supports you more fully being in the world as your Essence light, the energy that is housed within the Soul.
Distance Option: All students are eligible for distance participation. Students are required to attend at least one class weekend in person. If possible, attending the Sept 26-27, 2009 and Nov 7-8, 2009 classes in person is suggested. The evolutionary shift that occurs throughout this process is accelerated at that time and in-person participation will create greater harmony for the personality.
Please note that the distance option means you will be attending the entire weekend as a distance student. Attending part of the weekend in person is not an option, this includes leaving early after lunch etc. Thank you in advance for your understanding and contribution to the evolutionary space we are creating.

From the Pittsburgh International Airport/South Hills
The highway from the airport to Pittsburgh is called the Penn-Lincoln Parkway. It is usually referred to as The Parkway. At various points along the Parkway, it is marked as Route 60, 22-30, and 279. There are many routes you can take. The route through the city of Pittsburgh will have you traveling on mainly interstates but may be a little longer. From the airport follow signs for I-375 East/I-79 East ramp to I-376 West. Merge onto I-376 West and continue until you come to I-78 N. As you travel toward the city, you will go through the Fort Pitt Tunnel. You will exit the tunnel onto the Fort Pitt Bridge. Get into the far left lane and exit onto the Fort Duquesne Bridge.On the Fort Duquesne Bridge, get into the far right lane and take the “Route 579 to 279” exit to the right; follow Route 279 North until the McKnight Road exit. Take exit 4 for US 19 Truck N/McKnight Road. Keep left, follow signs for US 19 Truck N/McKnight Road. Continue on McKnight Road for approximately 5 miles. Take a slight right onto Babcock Blvd. Stay right and follow Babcock Blvd past Duncan Ave. The next red light, turn right into the entrance of Kearns Spirituality Center. Do not go to the La Roche college entrance. Follow the road to the top of the hill where you will see signs directing you to the Conference Center. Follow signs for the Conference Center.
From Route 76, Pennsylvania Turnpike:
Follow the turnpike to Exit 39 for PA-8 South toward Pittsburgh. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for PA-8 South/Pittsburgh. Merge onto PA-8 South. Follow for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Mt. Royal Boulevard. Then turn right onto Duncan Avenue. In a half mile, turn right onto Babcock Boulevard. The turn right at the light for the entrance to Kearns Spirituality Center.
From Route 79 South
If approaching Pittsburgh from the South, exit Route 79 at Pittsburgh onto the Penn-Lincoln Parkway West, which is also labeled Route 22/30 and Route 279. From here follow the above directions from the airport.
From Route 79 North
If approaching Pittsburgh from the North, take I-79 South until you come to Exit 73. Take exit 73 toward Wexford Bayne Road. Turn left onto Wexford Bayne Rd, then turn right onto Brandt School Rd. Go for 2 milesand turn left onto Pine Creek Road. Turn right onto McKnight Road. Turn left onto Cumberland Road. Then turn right onto Babcock Blvd. The entrance to Kearns Spirituality Center will be on your left at the red light.
From the Parkway East
Take the Boulevard of the Allies Exit to the Veterans Bridge ramp. Cross the I-579N/Veterans Bridge and stay straigth to merge onto I-279. Take exit 4 for US 19 Truck N/McKnight Road. Keep left, follow signs for US 19 Truck N/McKnight Road. Continue on McKnight Road for approximately 5 miles.
