When we want something to be different, we often think about what needs to change. If we are aware of an idea, we may even try it to see if it brings the desired result. Through trial and error we learn and move hopefully closer to our goal.
But what if there were a simpler way, one in which the direct line between desire and action were to manifest?
Using energy to create. It's a time-honored tradition, but one we do not often learn as we are growing up. Rather we begin to learn about the world of form, a bus versus a car, hot and cold. We learn opposites, solid surfaces, things that hurt and things that feel good. But in this learning we have skipped a vital step. Everything is created from energy.
Energy then is the basic component of all life, that which when learned to see, sense or even believe in its presence can change our lives. When we see, for instance, that the relationship before us is not as harmonious as we desire is merely choice points of energy, we can alter the way we engage, as well as what we create with this same relationship. Nothing external has changed, and yet the way we now view the relationship has. We could say our orientation has shifted.
No longer seen as a series of frustrations and 'what doesn't work', we can instead view it as an opportunity to learn about how we, as evolving human beings, respond to the energy of another. Does the absence in a partner bring up fears of abandonment? Does the exuberance of love bring up old thoughts about the need to manage large incoming energy?
All of these and the many others the mind can create are merely extensions of consciousness, tiny units of energy that extend themselves to us. How we respond, and ultimately how we create with these tiny units is entirely up to us.
We may learn for instance to be less responsive to the energy of others and instead learn to hold our center, our base of power. We may learn that as we do so the very nature in the way this same individual responds to us has shifted. An energy field between two or more individuals creates a unified effect. Aspects of consciousness seek one another out where there is a fit, where a 'dance' is possible. Think for a moment where one of life's coincidences has revealed itself and you will see this concept in action. You think of someone and they call. You remember an item you have forgotten to purchase only to have it given to you. You desire support on your personal journey and you meet the right person who offers a moment of inspiration and encouragement.
Connected by universal energy we each support the whole. Our thoughts of joy create a wave for all those who need joy as well as for all of those who resonate there. We are One. We have heard this before. And yet, do we slow down enough in our lives to take a moment, pause and reflect on what this means for us today in this particular moment?
How can being part of One influence our choices? How can it support our life work? The healing of an illness? Much like a tuning fork that is struck and placed near a goblet, our bodies respond to the available energy all around us. We go to the workshop and are impacted by the energy that each participant brings. We have entered immediately into a larger field than we could generate on our own.
But what determines how this energy impacts our system? How we learn to interpret a situation begins the process of biochemical changes that occurs at a cellular level. We think a thought and seventeen documented stages of cellular response occur. These filter into the stored consciousness within the cells themselves. How have we responded in the past to similar situations? What do we expect to occur? How do we prepare to protect ourselves based on these images? All of this occurs at lightening fast speed. Most often outside the conscious mind that is focusing on the everyday events of life. What time does the workshop start? Who are the speakers? I wonder if the person I talked to last year is there again? These are examples of how the mind thinks at a conscious level about an upcoming event. It does not think about things such as how can I use the energy that will be there to change my life? How can I channel all that will be available and use it to impact my life in exponential ways?
Through having clarity about what you desire to create, you begin the process of redirecting incoming energy in any situation. This clarity represents the intention or desire of the conscious mind. It is a simple 'I want' statement. It is recognizable to the mind and often serves to bring up some emotion, such as excitement, in response to its presence.
You have stated what you want, much like putting a stake in the ground you have begun the process of creating. Next you clarify your intention by further fine tuning your intention. This occurs through becoming clear about the types of energy you desire to experience. You could think of this as setting the filter of your energy field to attract a certain quality. You desire cheerful exchanges might be one example. Your mind might even forget about the intention until you begin to recognize that over and over again what you have asked for begins to emerge. Often the mind reverts back to its learning phase of cause and effect or trial and error. It notices this change as real and begins to become curious about what has transpired.
As an experiment in your day, set your intention. What would you like to create? Next find the qualities of energy that support that becoming true. The qualities of energy can be thought of as the types of energy, for instance calming, uplifting, energizing, supportive, clarifying, peaceful, etc. Each moment that we experience in life is filled with each component of energy that is possible in the universe. We often notice those that are most dense or occurring closest to the energy body. These would be anger, fear, and pain. Next we notice joy, love and excitement. Throughout the entire energy field of each individual we meet exists the energy of each component of energy. We may currently be resonating with only the denser layers, and yet all possibilities exist.
Through setting our intention and clarifying what we desire to entertain in our own energyfields, we begin to move back toward a more basic way of life. We begin to use energy in a conscious way to create the reality we desire.
Each and every time we enter a large event, such as an upcoming workshop we have the opportunity to create even larger shifts or change in our lives. Through shared purpose and curiosity, like-minded individuals coming together in one location there is much useable energy available to us all. Take a moment now and find something in your life you would like to enrich something you would like to shift in a dramatic way. With all the useable energy you are ready now to take your next step, to embrace who you are in the larger One and begin to create what you desire.
